Stepan Bardizbanian

Camp Director
Director of Camps and Founder

Stepan Bardizbanian is the Camp Director and Founder of the Predator Soccer Program. He is originally from Bulgaria where he earned a Bachelor Degree in kinesiology and sports management. Stepan has been coaching youth soccer since 1990.

During his successful career as a soccer coach, he has developed numerous collegiate and professional soccer players who are still performing at a high level throughout US and Europe.
Stepan is certified USSF and NSCAA “B” licensed coach.


Velko Iotov

Coaching Director
Director of Coaching and Founder

Velko started his professional soccer career for Levski in 1988. As a member of Levski he participated in 7 UEFA Cup games and in the summer of 1993 Velko was transferred to Espanol in Barcelona, Spain.

He played 13 UEFA Cup games during his European soccer career. In the summer of 1995 Velko transferred to Argentina’s, Newell’s Old Boys, with which he played 4 years until the fall of 1999. He played 147¬†professional games and scored 40 goals. He ended his professional soccer career in 2004 with the Atlanta Silverbacks. Iotov also held the Silverbacks MVP for 2002 with 19 goals and 15 assists in 47 games.

Iotov competed as a member of the Bulgarian National Team in the 1994 World Cup in the United States where he received a bronze medal.

Velko is a certified UEFA “A” licensed coach and also posseses an Argentine professional coaching license.

Jon Akin

Professional Coach

After an outstanding career in college, Jon was drafted by The Charleston Battery in the first round of the A-League draft. During the 2000 off-season, Jon played with Kilkinney City of The Irish Premiere League.He began the 2002 season with The Charleston Battery before being traded to The Atlanta Silverbacks. Currently Jon is the Head Coach of the Oglethorpe Men’s Soccer Team.


Gilbert Jean-Baptiste

Professional Coach

After a successful college career, he signed his first professional contract with the Charleston Battery where he was named Rookie of the Year. He was rewarded for his impact in the A-League and named to the All-Star Team for three consecutive years. In 2002, he signed for the Atlanta Silverbacks, where he continued with his success. In his four years as a professional, he participated in two World Cup Qualification campaigns, and fell twice to Trinidad. He has represented his country in two Gold Cups and amassed a total of 11 caps with still more to come. He was the Haitian National Team’s Captain.


Ivo Ilarionov
